ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 6 p.m. The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. The Planning Commission meeting is in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (room 209). The Development Review Committee meeting is in the Grace Knight Conference Room. Both meetings are on the second floor of the County Administration Building (12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

ZOS-02-16 (Special Use Permit) - This is a request by Clay Sweger of eda, inc., agent, for the Alachua County Library District, owners, for a special use permit to allow a government building in the Agriculture zoning district located at 3020 S.W. 75th Street on Tax Parcel Number 06850-003-000 on approximately 10.05 acres. The request, if approved, would permit the expansion of the existing Tower Road Library on this site. This parcel has an ‘A’ (Agriculture) zoning district with an Institutional future land use designation.
