Foster Grandparent Program Seeks Volunteers

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) is currently seeking volunteers for the 2016-2017 school year. Volunteers work one-on-one with children, especially in Head Start classes, elementary schools, and after school programs.

Alachua County residents age 55 and over who live on a limited income are encouraged to apply. In return for their service, volunteers receive an hourly stipend, a daily meal, mileage reimbursement, and supplemental insurance.
