County Commission Seeks Community Agency Partnership Program (CAPP) Requests for Application

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals from 501(c)(3) agencies with a physical address in Alachua County for delivery of poverty reduction services. These services will benefit residents in the categories of Children’s Education (ages 6 to 18), Child Safety (ages 6 to 18), Disabilities/Health Maintenance, Homeless/Housing, Hunger Relief, and Seniors for the FY2016/2017 grant year.

Proposal materials are available online or at the Alachua County Purchasing Division, 12 SE 1st Street, 3rd Floor, Gainesville, FL, 32601, 352-374-5202. The application period began at noon on June 1, 2016, and runs until 2 p.m. on June 29, 2016.

The deadline for application submission is June 29, 2016, by 2 p.m. Applications must be submitted on a USB Flash drive, and one printed original of each program proposal must be delivered to Alachua County Purchasing Division by 2 p.m. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.

All potential applicants are required to attend the in-person pre-application workshop. The Pre-Application Workshop is on Friday, June 10, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Alachua County Community Support Services, Conference Room D (218 SE 24th Street, Gainesville).
