“Infant mortality is a key measure of our county’s health. In infant mortality, complex health inequities are reflected through racial and ethnic disparities,” stated Florida Department of Health in Alachua County Community Program Manager Diana Duque. “We hope that by reviewing the social determinants of health and collaborating with community organizations, we can improve infant mortality rates in Alachua County. This is the framework for Florida’s Healthy Babies.”

For more information, contact Diane Duque at 352-225-4355 or Diana.Duque@flhealth.gov.
