12-15-15 County Commission Special Meeting and Joint League of Cities Meeting

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission will conduct a Special Meeting and Joint County/League of Cities Meeting on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. The Special meeting begins at 10 a.m. The Joint County/League of Cities Special Meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Jack Durrance Auditorium, located on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

The 10 a.m. meeting agenda includes:

1. Fiscal Year 2017 Regional Transit System (RTS) level of service
2. Children's Services Council recommendations
3. Meridian Behavioral Center’s capital needs
4. Discussion of Chamber of Commerce Community Progress Compact
5. Discussion of Sheriff Darnell’s request to acquire three parcels for future growth of the Sheriff’s Office

The 5:30 p.m. meeting agenda includes:

1. Ballot Initiative Discussion
