County Animal Services on Alachua County Talks

Alachua County Animal Services Director Vernon SawyerALACHUA COUNTY, FL – A new edition of Alachua County Talks, featuring an interview with Alachua County Animal Services Director Vernon Sawyer, premieres Monday, October 26, 2015, on Cox Channel 12 TV at 7:30 p.m. Sawyer discusses the challenges facing County Animal Services, as well as the division’s many accomplishments, and the rewards and responsibilities of pet ownership.

In speaking of the program Alachua County Talks host Mark Sexton said, “Vernon Sawyer has a wealth of experience and dedication to the animal services field. Through education, adoption, sheltering, enforcement, and the rescue of animals, Alachua County Animal Services is working to promote public safety for the welfare of citizens and animals alike."
