ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Livestock Program for October, 2015. This program is being offered by Dr. Cindy Sanders, Livestock Agent, at the UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office (2800 NE 39 Avenue, Gainesville).
Basic Goat Production Workshop – October 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Some workshop topics will include: evaluation of meat goat breeds, general herd health, toxic weeds and hoof trimming.
There is a $5.00 registration fee (meal included). Please pre-register by Monday, October 12, at 352-955-2402.
