Land Conservation Board Vacancies

Land Conservation BoardALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Board of County Commissioners is seeking applications for its Land Conservation Board (LCB). This 12-member Board evaluates land nominated for conservation under the Alachua County Forever Program and makes recommendations to the County Commission. It also provides input and guidance to staff and the County Commission on the proper stewardship of the County’s conservation lands. The LCB generally meets quarterly on the fourth Wednesday of the month, at 5:30 p.m.  Terms are for four years unless a person is appointed to fill a partial term.

Applications are being taken for the three Natural Resources Professionals positions and the one Citizen-at-Large position currently open.
