Court Services Phone Scam Alert

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Court Services is receiving reports of people receiving phone calls from someone alleging to be a Court Services representative, who is saying that they need to pay money for a related service. These calls are a scam to defraud residents. Court Services employees do not call clients insisting that they pay money.

If anyone receives such a call, please do not give any payment information. Hang up and call Alachua County Courts Services at 352-338-7390. These incidents also need to be reported to the police, by calling the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office at 352-955-1818.
