Pet Adoptions Days Event

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – Alachua County Animal Services is partnering with the Wagmore Foundation, Best Friends Animal Society, local rescue groups, and sponsors for “Pet Adoptions Days” on Saturday and Sunday (June 13 - 14, 2015). The goal of this two day event is to find homes for hundreds of pets in Alachua County.

Adoptions on these days is free, and all adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Animal Services will be open on Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the shelter headquarters (3900 NE 53rd Ave., Gainesville).

Pet adopters must be 18 or older and show ID with proof of current address. If there are already pets in the home, the potential adopter must show proof that owned animals are current on rabies vaccinations and licensed.
