Planning CommissionALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at 6 p.m. The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. Both meetings are in room 209 of the County Administration Building located at 12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville.

Items for the Planning Commission

CPA-01-15 (Emergency Remote Clinic) - A small scale comprehensive plan amendment to change 4.22 acres of land in the Archer Road/Tower Road Activity Center from a Commercial to an Institutional future land use designation. The parcel is located at 7405 S.W. Archer Road on tax parcel number 07048-000-000. This parcel has an A (Agriculture) zoning district with an application submitted to amend the zoning to HM (Hospital Medical) district (ZOM-03-15). The applicant wishes to locate an emergency remote medical facility on the property. ZOM-03-15 (Emergency Remote Clinic) - A request to rezone a 4.22 acre parcel from ‘A’ (Agricultural) district to a ‘HM’ (Hospital/medical) district. The parcel is located at 7405 S.W. Archer Road on tax parcel number 07048-000-000. This parcel has a Commercial Future Land Use Designation with an application submitted to amend the Future Land Use designation to Institutional (CPA-01-15). The applicant wishes to locate an emergency remote medical facility on the property. ZOM-02-15 (Newberry/122nd PD) - A request  to consider a rezoning from ‘RE-1’ (Single-family Residential) to ‘PD’ (Non-residential Planned Development) on approximately 2.06 acres at 708 N.W. 122nd Street. The Planned Development would allow for all permitted and limited uses of the BR (Retail Sales and Services) zoning district. ZOM-04-15 (Multerra Rezoning) - A request to consider a rezoning from ‘A’ (Agricultural) to ‘R-1A’ (Single-family Residential) on approximately 26 acres at 9315 S.W. Archer Road.
