December 4-H Program

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following 4-H program for December, 2014. This program is being offered by Matt Benge, 4-H Youth Development Agent, at Payne's Prairie Preserve State Park, 100 Savannah Boulevard, Micanopy.

Second Annual 4-H 5K Little Run on the Prairie
– December 6, registration from 7:30a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Race begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by awards ceremony at 9:30 a.m.
Proceeds from the run will support 4-H Clubs, school enrichment programs, and summer camps.
The race is followed by a prairie presentation from a Park Ranger and guests can make smoothies using the “Eat4-Health” blender bike. Prizes, snacks, T-shirt, and entry to the park are all included with the $25.00 entry fee. Participants must register by November 28 to guarantee a T-shirt.
