New "County Update" Show on Community 12

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - A new County Update program premieres tonight, Wednesday August 19, 2009 at 7 p.m. on Community 12 (channel 12 for Cox Cable subscribers). The show features stories on the following:

1) Alachua County Cuts ribbon at Jonesville Fire Rescue Station
2) Citizens Take County Emergency Response Course
3) County Facilities Management Renovates Farmers Market
4) County Waste Alternatives helps Shoppers "Buy SMART"
5) Parks Get New Pet Waste Disposal Stations
6) Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
