ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County is announcing the launch of its new Facebook and Twitter sites. The sites will include postings of press releases, weekly meetings schedules, County produced video programming, and important alerts.
In speaking of the sites, Alachua County Communications Coordinator Mark Sexton said, "We are very happy to bring this information to citizens who use these social networking tools. It is important that County government remain responsive and up-to-date as communication and information systems evolve."
