"It is Raining Cats and Dogs" Open House
April 11, 2009, 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Activities include:
- bake sale
- face painting for kids
- Gainesville Police Department K-9 Demonstration at 11 a.m.
- local dog trainers giving advice
- The Greater Gainesville Dog Fancier's Association is giving free training coupons
- Meet local rescue groups and pet vendors

Animal Clinic
April 18, 2009, 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
"Bring you fuzzy four legged best friend in to get caught up on shots" says Hilary Hines, Public Education Program Coordinator, Alachua County Animal Services
Services offered at clinic include:
- Heartworm checks are $10.00
- Rabies vaccinations are $6.00
- Micro-Chipping is $15.00
- Other low cost shots available during clinic
Alachua County Animal Services’ hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The upcoming events are located at their headquarters (3400 NE 53rd Avenue, Gainesville).
