U.S. Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) today announced office hours for the Gainesville area on February 8, 2006. Citizens will be able to meet with caseworkers from Senator Martinez's office who are traveling the state to reach constituents who may have questions or concerns involving the Veterans Administration, Medicare, Social Security and other services of the federal government.
The office hours will be on Wednesday, February 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Community Treasures Conference Room on the 1st floor of the County Administration Building, 12 SE 1st Street, Gainesville, FL.
Senator Martinez said, "Remote office hours help me to better serve the residents of Florida by keeping me closely informed about their problems and concerns. I hope residents will visit to share their concerns and allow my staff to help resolve issues they may be having that involve the federal government."
