Upcoming Cycling Race

5:10 p.m.

 

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Public Works is issuing a traffic caution to citizens driving on CR346. On February 7, 2009, University of Florida will be sponsoring a cycling race on CR346. The limits of the race will be from the City of Archer to Williston Rd. The event is expected to start at 8 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 4 p.m.

 

There will be no need of lane or road closures. Motorists will be cautioned by volunteers at each end of the limits of the activity on CR346. The Sheriff's Department has been notified as well as The Department of Public Safety. There should be no delays in commuting however the route will be heavily traveled by cyclists.
