ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The following is from the National Weather Service, Jacksonville:
The Santa Fe River appears to be coming up very rapidly and we should see impacts similar to Tropical Storm Frances in 2004. The river is expected to rise above flood stage by early afternoon on Tuesday and to rise to 25.7 feet by Saturday Morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
