ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission will conduct two Special Meetings on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Grace Knight Conference Room located on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration building (12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

The 10 a.m. meeting agenda includes:

1. Budget Development Update


2. Department of Juvenile Justice Discussion

3. Pending State legislation and resolutions to oppose

1. Mobility Plan and Transit Oriented Development Status Update


2. Proposed County Project Lists for Potential Charter County Transportation Surtax


3. Compromise (Reduction) of County's Subrogation Claim for Medical Assistance Payments under the Florida Health Care Responsibility Act


4. Proposed Lower Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers and Associated Priority Springs Minimum Flows and Levels and Recovery Strategy
