Health Department Expands Services in the City of Alachua

This press release put out at the request of the Alachua County Health Department.

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Florida Department of Health in Alachua County has expanded its clinical services at the health department’s location in the City of Alachua (15530 NW US HWY 441, Suite 10010, Alachua, in the Hitchcock’s Shopping Center).

The City of Alachua health department clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday and will now be offering nursing, adult health, pediatric, and immunization services daily.  Call 386-462-2542 to make an appointment.  Additionally, birth and death certificates can be issued until 4 p.m.

“These new hours and services reflect our commitment to improving access to health care for all residents of Alachua County.” stated Paul Myers, Administrator of the Alachua County Health Department.  “Our clients have been asking for increased service hours and we are accommodating their requests.”
