ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Departments of Community Support Services and Growth Management are pleased to announce the availability of funding for Alachua County’s Rental Deposit Program.
This program assists households whose gross annual incomes are less than 50% of area median income. For example, a household of 3 could earn up to $27,550. It provides assistance to pay for security deposits, utility deposits and program related inspection fees to assist qualified households to rent affordable housing in Alachua County. Funding is made available through the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program.
Participants are required to contact Community Support Services’ Social Services Division at 352-264-6723 to schedule an appointment.
