ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – A new edition of Alachua County Talks featuring an interview with Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County President Keith Blanchard premiers Friday December 20, 2013 on Community 12 TV at 7:30 p.m. Since 1949, the Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County has provided educational, recreational, leadership and sports after-school and summer programming for area youth.

In speaking of the program Alachua County Talks host Mark Sexton said, “The Boys and Girls Club’s goal to inspire and empower the youth of Alachua County to achieve their potential and become responsible, productive and successful citizens is truly commendable.”

The latest editions of Alachua County Talks air at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. every night except Thursday, and at 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. and 12 a.m. every day. Special or regular County Commission and Gainesville City Commission meetings may preempt any showing.
