ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Animal Services is asking residents to adopt animals this holiday season. The adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $25 for cats. All cats and dogs that have been here longer than 21 days are available for adoption at our reduced challenge prices ($15 for dogs and $10 for cats). The adoptable animals are at the Animal Services Headquarters (3400 NE 53rd Ave, Gainesville), which is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Alachua County Shelter Supervisor, Jane Grantman said, “We want to find homes for every cat and dog this holiday season. Please help us empty our shelter.”
All cats and dogs are examined, vaccinated and spayed or neutered prior to leaving Animal Services.
