ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Growth Management Department has released an innovative online mapping application called “Map Genius.”
Map Genius is a mobile compatible interactive mapping application that makes information such as parcel attributes, zoning, school zones, flood zones, utility service areas, census and environmental features easily available. It was created to be simple, fast, highly intuitive, and informative.

Map Genius is best viewed on the desktop using Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer version 9+ web browsers. It also works in Internet Explorer version 8, but not in version 7. Mobile phones and tablets are supported including the iPhone, iPad, and most Android devices using the default Android web browser.
Opening Map Genius for the first time may require up to 30 seconds to load. Afterwards it should load in under 10 seconds, dependent on internet connection speed.
