ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County and City of Gainesville Equal Opportunity Offices are sponsoring an Employment Law Seminar for local employers on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Best Western Gateway Grand Hotel (4200 NW 97th Blvd., Gainesville).
Topics include: Recent Developments in Labor and Employment Law, Wage and Hour Laws (including the new Alachua County Wage Theft Ordinance), Everything You Ever Wanted (or Needed) to Know about the Family Medical Leave Act, and Creating an Inclusive and Respectful Workplace.
Private and public employers are encouraged to participate in this seminar.
The fee is $99 and registration ends September 12, 2013.
