ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Residential curbside collection service for solid waste, recycling, and yard trash will not be affected by the Veterans Day holiday. The regular schedule for these services will occur on Monday, November 12, 2012. The Transfer Station at the Leveda Brown Environmental Park and the five Alachua County Rural Collection Centers will be open during their regularly scheduled hours.
The Office of Waste Collection and the Hazardous Waste Center at the Leveda Brown Environmental Park will be closed on Monday. They will reopen on Tuesday November 13.
