ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Planning Commission and the Development Review Committee will meet next week. Both meetings will take place in room 209 of the County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street downtown Gainesville.
Item for the Wednesday September 19, 2012, 6 p.m. Planning Commission Meeting:
· ZOM-09-12 is a public hearing for a rezoning from ‘AP’ (Administrative/Professional) district to ‘BP’ (Business/Professional) district at 4420 NW 36th Avenue on approximately 0.53 acres. This rezoning, if approved by the Board of County Commissioners, will permit all uses called for in the Alachua County Code for the BP district. These include personal services (such as massage therapy or beauty salon) as well as professional services (law, architectural or medical offices). No retail uses are allowed in the BP district.
