Rescission of Newberry Boil Water Notice

ALACHUA COUNTY - The City of Newberry has lifted the boil water notice imposed on Monday, September 25, 2006.  Water sample results from the Alachua County Health Department indicate no bacteriological contamination of the water system.
 
A precautionary boiled water notice was advised following a water line break that affected the area south of SW 15th Avenue, west of SW 252nd Street, east of SW 260th Street, and north of SW 22nd Place.
