Tom Tonkavich on Alachua County Talks

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – As part of its continuing commitment to civic education and transparency, the latest edition of Alachua County Talks featuring an interview with Alachua County Court Services Director Tom Tonkavich, premieres tonight at 7:30 p.m. on Cox channel 12.  The program focuses on the Court Services Department, its duties, programs, and the services it provides.

In speaking of the interview, host Mark Sexton said, “Mr. Tonkavich has a keen insight into the challenges and needs our community and our courts face with regard to criminal justice, substance abuse and mental health issues."

The latest editions of Alachua County Talks air at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. every night except Thursday, and at 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. and 12 a.m. every day.  Special or regular County Commission and Gainesville City Commission meetings may preempt any showing.
