ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Animal Services is having a cat adoption event this Saturday October 8, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The "Calling all Animal Lovers and Cat Cuddlers" event is the second adoption event for the Havens Acre Cats. The event will take place at the Animal Services facitlity located at 3400 NE 53rd Avenue, Gainesville.
This is a plea to the public to come out and rescue the remaining cats. The cats will be at the "New Hope" price of $33.00. This includes everything the cat needs, including a free vet visit with a local veterinarian.
Alachua County Animal Services Director David Flagler says, "Please come out and help the Animals at Alachua County Animal Services have a happy ending."
