ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission is holding a special meeting on Thursday, August 4, 2011, at 5 p.m. The meeting is in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (room 209) on the second floor of the County Administration Building (12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

1. Discussion on Current Budget Issues
2. Additional Regional Transit System Funding for FY12
3. FY12 Budget Development – Sheriff Funding Information
