Jonesville Park Soccer Field Groundbreaking

Citizens are invited to the groundbreaking of the Jonesville Park Soccer Field of Dreams on Friday, December 2, at 4 p.m. The six soccer fields will be constructed by Alachua County Parks and Recreation in conjunction with the Gainesville Soccer Alliance within Jonesville Park, at the corner of CR 241 and NW 32nd Ave. The Gainesville Soccer Alliance has donated $550,000 towards this project.

The soccer fields are part of the larger Jonesville Park Master Plan that includes numerous and varied recreation facilities from tennis, racquetball, volleyball, and bocce courts, to a nature center, ball fields, disc golf course, amphitheater and BMX track.
