Earth Day Countdown - Alachua County Talks "Environmental Protection"

20 Days until Earth Day.

Driven by the County Commission's Guiding Vision, everyday is Earth Day in Alachua County.  In April, each day leading up to Earth Day (April 22), the County will be highlighting programs, services, and strategies designed to lead Alachua County into a more sustainable future.

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - A new edition of "Alachua County Talks" featuring an interview with Alachua County Environmental Protection Department (EPD) Director Chris Bird premieres Friday April 2, 2010, on Community 12 TV at 7:30 p.m. The interview provides an overview of Alachua County EPD services and initiatives, including water quality and conservation, land and habitat preservation, and pollution prevention.

Alachua County Talks airs at 7:30 p.m. every night except Thursday, and at 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. every day.  Special or regular County Commission meetings may preempt any showing.
