Free Class: Growing Fruit in North Central

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County is pleased to offer an upcoming free gardening class. This class is presented by Wendy Wilber, Environmental Horticulture Agent, at the Alachua County Extension Office (2800 NE 39th Ave., in Gainesville).

  • Growing Fruit in North Central Florida - February 17th, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  Learn how to grow citrus, peaches, persimmons, blueberries and more in your own backyard.  Information will include, fertilizing, pruning and which varieties grow best in this area.
