Social and Emotional Development

  • Healthy Social & Emotional Development & Family Support (SED)

The Social and Emotional Development (SED) program was developed by the Alachua County Children's Services Advisory Board.  The initiative will provide consultation benefitting children and families receiving early care and education from licensed center-based and home-based programs in Alachua County.  SED will also benefit the staff of those early care and education providers through training and in classroom consultative services.

A system of services will be developed for early childhood mental health consultation and trauma responsive training for caregivers and families of children birth to age given.
