Hurricane Irma Update Eastside High Transitioning to Pet Friendly Only Shelter

The Eastside High School (1201 S.E. 43rd Street, Gainesville) shelter is transitioning to a pet friendly only shelter. Evacuees without pets will be guided to other shelters. Evacuees with pets should go to Eastside High School.

County staff and volunteers from other agencies are working around the clock to accommodate the enormous amount of evacuees in need of shelter.
