The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (room 209) on the second floor of the County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

Items for the Planning Commission

ZOM-01-18 (Infinite Energy PD Amendment) – This is a request by CHW, Inc. agent for Infinite Properties, Inc., owners, for a major amendment to an existing ‘PD’ (Infinite Energy Planned Development) to allow an increase in allowed square footage on approximately 8.8 acres located at 7001 S.W. 24th Avenue. The site has land use designations of Residential Low Density (1-4 dwelling units per acre) and Residential Medium Density (4-8 dwelling units per acre). CPA-01-18 (County Initiated Large Scale Text Amendment) - This is a proposed County-initiated amendment to the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan: 2011-2030, Future Land Use Element to amend Future Land Use Element Policy 1.8.2 b removing the criteria for a maximum unit size in Cottage Neighborhoods. The proposed Millhopper Fire Station (ZOS-01-18) Special Use Permit has been deferred until the January 17, 2018, Planning Commission Meeting.
