Winter to be cooler and wetter than normal


October 26th - Weak to moderate El Nino conditions developed during the summer and these conditions are expected to continue through the 2009-2010 Winter season. The climate prediction center`s official forecast for winter is for below normal average temperatures and above normal precipitation across southeast Georgia and northeast Florida. Cooler Weather But....

Cooler weather will often result in a lowering of the relative humidity which can increase the risk of Fire Danger.  Be careful raking leaves and burning them with trash.  Check local bans and/or fire weather before burning.  Fire Weather
