Santa Fe River Flooding Warning Near High Springs

Alachua County has received a flood warning from the National Weather Service for the Santa Fe River near High Springs. The water levels are expected to continue to rise, due to the forecast of rain later in the week. There is currently flooding of the boat ramp south of US-441 in Alachua County, making it inaccessible, and further flooding of boat ramps and docks is expected. 

Alachua County is closely monitoring this situation and will issue updates, as needed. Residents are encouraged to use caution, stay informed and notify local officials of any concerns.
