Other than emergency services, all Alachua County government offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, in observance of the Independence Day Holiday.
Curbside Waste Collection/Collection Centers
Residential curbside collection service for solid waste, recycling, and yard trash will be delayed by one day due to the observance of Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4th. Collection regularly scheduled for Tuesday will be picked up on Wednesday and so on through the week. The regular schedule will resume on Monday, July 10th. Collection service on Monday, July 3rd will not be affected.
The Office of Waste Collection, the Hazardous Waste Collection Center, the five Alachua County Rural Collection Centers, and the Leveda Brown Environmental Park and Transfer Station will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th and will reopen on Wednesday, July 5th.
