The Florida Department of Health in Alachua County is hosting a Florida Healthy Babies meeting in collaboration with the Department of Children and Families’ Child Fatality Prevention Partnership, on Friday, September 14, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., in the Alachua County Health Department’s Thomas Coward Auditorium (224 S.E. 24th Street, Gainesville). Attendees should RSVP by Friday, September 7, to healthyalachua@flhealth.gov.
Families, caretakers, moms, dads, and professionals are invited to attend this collaborative learning opportunity. Topics include child safety, literacy, and breastfeeding. There will be snacks, free items, and a raffle of a car seat, play yard, nursing shawl, and more.
