The Florida Department of Health in Alachua County is hosting a Florida Healthy Babies meeting in collaboration with the Department of Children and Families’ Child Fatality Prevention Partnership. The meeting is on Friday, June 29, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Thomas Coward Auditorium (224 S.E. 24th Street, Gainesville). Families, caretakers, and professionals are invited to attend this collaborative learning opportunity.
There will be updates from the Florida Healthy Babies Alachua team and the Department of Children and Families Child Fatality Prevention Partnership as well as presentations about family planning methods, local tobacco prevention initiatives, Catholic Charities’ Caring Choices Program, and the Anita Zuckerman Center. All those interested are encouraged to attend.
