Alachua County Animal Services invites you to ‘Fall’ in Love with a Shelter Pet. Animal Services is offering waived adoption fees for all cats and dogs through Saturday, October 21, 2017. Animal Services Headquarters (3400 NE 53rd Ave, Gainesville) is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with adoptions ending at 5 p.m.
Pet adopters must be 18 or older and show ID with proof of current address. If there are already pets in the home, the potential adopter must show proof that owned animals are current on rabies and license. All dogs and cats available for adoption are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before leaving Animal Services.
