Other than emergency services, all Alachua County offices will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2017, in observance of Veterans Day.
Alachua County Animal Services will be open on Friday and closed on Saturday, November 11. Animal Services officers will be on-call only for emergencies at 352-955-1818.
Residential curbside collection service for solid waste, recycling, and yard trash will not be affected by the Veterans Day holiday. The Transfer Station at the Leveda Brown Environmental Park and the five Alachua County Rural Collection Centers will be open during their regularly scheduled hours.
The Office of Waste Collection and the Hazardous Waste Center at the Leveda Brown Environmental Park will be closed on Friday. All facilities will resume regular hours of operation on Saturday, November 11.
