9-5-17 Special Meetings

The Alachua County Commission will conduct twi Special Meetings on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. The first meeting begins at 1:30 p.m., in the Grace Knight Conference Room. The second meeting begins at 5 p.m. in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (room 209). Both locations are on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

The 1:30 p.m. meeting agenda includes:

2. Graded Road Improvement Program (GRIP) update
3. Special Assessment District – N.W. 210th Ave, N.W. 205th St, N.W. 218th Ave and N.W. 202nd St
4. Weight limits on County roadways
5. Home Rule Amendment proposal for submission to Constitutional Revision Commission
6. Discussion of the storm water quality code and wetland code adoption process and to determine the Board's direction on a workshop and public hearing schedule

1. Public Hearing to take citizen comments and adopt the final Rate Resolution related to the Fire Assessment

The public is invited to attend the meetings. They will be available to view live on the County's Video on Demand website and on Cox Cable Channel 12.

Free parking is available for citizens attending the meetings. Please park in the S.W. Parking Garage (105 S.W. 3rd Street, Gainesville) and bring parking stubs to the Alachua County Manager's Office, located on the 2nd floor of the County Administration Building, to receive a chaser validation ticket.
