Welcome:

The Fire Rescue Section is responsible for the provision of fire protection/prevention and emergency medical services (EMS) to the community. The Fire Rescue Section is the largest Section in the Department. It is made up of 203.5 members, 188 of which are uniformed personnel assigned to Operations that staff emergency units 24/7.

The Fire Rescue Section is organized into three (3) branches: Emergency Medical Services (EMS),  Operations, and Technical Services. Each Branch is managed by a "Branch Director." Services provided by the branches include the support functions of training, supplies, health and safety and fire prevention.
