How are abandoned calls managed by the PSAP? An abandoned 911 call by definition, is a 911 call in which the caller has disconnected before the PSAP has answered the call. All abandoned calls are presented to all positions in the PSAP for call back by a Call Taker, Dispatcher or Supervisor.
Does the Cassidian Patriot system automatically re-bid wireless calls? Yes, the system automatically rebids 4 times at 15 second intervals for Phase I calls and once at the 30 second point for Phase II calls. The re-bid intervals may be modified by the system administrator.
