In this section of the site are synopsis of current Unimproved Road Improvement Program Alachua County Public Works Department. On March 11, 2008, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Unimproved Road Improvement Program. 

The program provides for the treatment of graded roads in Alachua County to reduce maintenance costs, control dust and lessen washboarding.
