Our guiding principles are designed to enhance customer staff focus and provide a framework for our customer service goals.

Customer Service

Good customer service begins with employees who have a positive attitude and take pride in delivering quality service as part of a team effort. Our team will create an environment that encourages this spirit with training and recognition.

ITS Customer service training for our new employees is introduced by a "mentor" who provides preliminary guidance and direction on performing their job.  Employees receive proactive customer service guidance from their supervisors.


Creating and maintaining an open line of communication with our customers, the staff of Alachua County, is crucial.  Doing so fosters good relationships between our department and county staff, but also encourage staff to come to us with issues that may have gone unnoticed.

We are committed to keeping our customers informed on the status of their request and to make sure our customers are satisfied with the level of service they have received.  We encourage customers feedback and suggestions.
