New WIC Clinic in Gainesville

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Florida Department of Health Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) has a new clinic in Gainesville. This is WIC’s fifth clinic in Alachua County. The clinic is at the Fearnside Family Services Center (3600 N.E. 15th Street, Gainesville). Prospective and current clients may call to inquire about the program or schedule an appointment at the local number 352-225-4343 or 1-800-494-2543.

“The Alachua County WIC Program is excited to continue its collaborations with the School Board of Alachua County,” stated Florida Department of Health in Alachua County Community Program Manager Diana Duque. “Opening a clinic at Fearnside helps bring our services closer to families. WIC encourages healthy eating habits at an early start.”
